CFD Simulation of Transonic Flow Through the Tip-Section Turbine Blade Cascade Intended for the Long Turbine Blade

The paper deals with numerical simulations of transonic flow through the turbine blade cascade consisting flat profiles. is one variants tip section ultra-long blades, which were designed for last stage steam turbine. CFD realized by means ANSYS CFX commercial software using γ-Re θ bypass transition model completed two-equation SST turbulence model. Some made only comparison. Numerical results compared experimental data. Calculations performed two nominal regimes and computational domains. In addition to standard domain, calculation was a domain an extended output part suppression reflected shock waves. interaction inner branch exit wave boundary layer on suction side leads in both separation followed turbulence. structure obtained corresponds well results.
